Kate P.

Office Administrator

Kate joined us in September of 2013. Kate has her Bachelors of Commerce from UNBC and was born and raised in Prince George. She moved away for a few years but has been back in PG since 2011. She plans to raise her kids here, grow roots, and call this city home for many more years.

She has always had a passion for animals and vet medicine. In fact, growing up she wanted to be a vet! Kate currently has 4 horses, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Her favourite part of working at Murdoch Vet is contributing to the overall picture of animal wellness for our patients…..and the puppies! Kate felt instantly at ease at the clinic. Everything clicked, she loved coming to work from day one. Her colleagues are amazing and talented people to work with and our family of clients/patients really enrich and contribute in a positive way.

Kate has a husband and 2 daughters. They all ride horses, and love to go camping with her horses and dogs. In addition to horseback riding and playing with her pets, she really enjoys knitting and cooking.

Cathy B.

Receptionist

Cathy started at the clinic in August of 2017. To her, the best part of working at MVC is being part of an amazing group of people who take pride in creating a caring environment for pets and owners. Her furry family includes two dogs, a cat, and four horses but there is always room for more! Cathy is also inspired by the fact that she comes into work knowing that she and the team get to help animals.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys riding her horses as much as possible and spending time with family and friends.

Angie C.

Inventory Manager

Angie grew up in Prince George and raised her family here alongside her husband. After her kids flew the coop, she wanted to get into the workforce again. Angie has always had a soft spot for animals as her house and yard are filled with rescues of all sizes and species. She currently has 1 dog, 3 cats, and 2 horses but the door is always open to take in more needy pets (as long as her husband doesn’t see them!). She knew she was in the right profession when work felt just like home.

When Angie is not at work, she enjoys knitting, traveling, and spending time with her grandchild.

Nicole J.

Receptionist

Nicole has been with Murdoch Veterinary Clinic since October 2020. She is inspired to come to work every day because of the people she is able to work with and enjoys helping animals as part of the Murdoch team. Nicole grew up in Prince George and loves to spend time with her family and dogs a Lab named “Goose”, a Golden Retriever named “Pearl”, a Shepherd cross named “Freya” and a Boxer named “Sammy”.

When she’s not at work she likes traveling around to new places and experiencing new cultures, she also enjoys fishing, hiking and taking all her dogs to explore new trails, and competing with the fast past pitch team for the past 20 years.

Meg M.

Receptionist

Meg was raised in the BC Interior and grew up on a small hobby farm. She moved to Prince George to attend post secondary school and has been here ever since.

Meg grew up with a strong love of animals – especially horses and dogs. She enjoys meeting the owners and their animals and the dedication that people have to keep their pets healthy and happy.

Meg is fortunate to work with an amazing team of people; everyone puts their patients first and works together to give the pet and owner a great experience at the clinic.

Outside of work, Meg and her husband have raised two amazing daughters in Prince George. Meg was lucky that they also love riding and they spend lots of family time at lessons, clinics, and shows. They have owned a variety of dogs and cats over the years, a German Shepherd and a Standard Poodle currently reside in their home. Meg and her family spend their summer vacations camping around British Columbia and even catch the odd fish. They also enjoy travelling and experiencing other cultures.
