Kate P.

Office Administrator

Kate joined us in September of 2013. Kate has her Bachelors of Commerce from UNBC and was born and raised in Prince George. She moved away for a few years but has been back in PG since 2011. She plans to raise her kids here, grow roots, and call this city home for many more years.

She has always had a passion for animals and vet medicine. In fact, growing up she wanted to be a vet! Kate currently has 6 horses, 4 dogs, and 2 cats. Her favourite part of working at Murdoch Vet is contributing to the overall picture of animal wellness for our patients…..and the puppies! Kate felt instantly at ease at the clinic. Everything clicked, she loved coming to work from day one. Her colleagues are amazing and talented people to work with and our family of clients/patients really enrich and contribute in a positive way.

Kate has a husband and 2 daughters. They all ride horses, and love to go camping with her horses and dogs. In addition to horseback riding and playing with her pets, she really enjoys knitting and cooking.

Angie C.

Inventory Manager

Angie grew up in Prince George and raised her family here alongside her husband. After her kids flew the coop, she wanted to get into the workforce again. Angie has always had a soft spot for animals as her house and yard are filled with rescues of all sizes and species. She currently has 1 dog, 3 cats, and 2 horses but the door is always open to take in more needy pets (as long as her husband doesn’t see them!). She knew she was in the right profession when work felt just like home.

When Angie is not at work, she enjoys knitting, traveling, and spending time with her grandchild.

Rylei B.

Receptionist

Born and raised in Prince George, Rylei joined the reception team in 2022 and quickly found a passion for working in veterinary medicine. While the profession came into her life unexpectedly, she has grown to love being part of the clinic team, especially watching patients grow over time. Seeing puppies and kittens who first came in when she started continue to grow up with the practice has been especially rewarding.

Rylei finds the most fulfilling part of her role in building relationships with clients and being part of their support system. She also has a passion for client education and enjoys helping pet owners feel informed, confident, and supported in their pets’ care.

Outside of work, Rylei loves spending time outdoors. In the fall, she heads to northern British Columbia to work as a horseback hunting guide, and during the summer, she enjoys riding with her horse, Yukon, alongside her dog, Waylon, and her mom.

Cathy B.

Receptionist/Inventory

Cathy started at the clinic in August of 2017. To her, the best part of working at MVC is being part of an amazing group of people who take pride in creating a caring environment for pets and owners. Her furry family includes two dogs, a cat, and four horses but there is always room for more! Cathy is also inspired by the fact that she comes into work knowing that she and the team get to help animals.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys riding her horses as much as possible and spending time with family and friends.

Madison R.

Receptionist

Maddie has loved animals for her whole life and always knew she wanted to work in a veterinary clinic. After recently graduating high school and joining our team, the most rewarding part of the job for Maddie is working with animals and seeing them happy, which continues to reinforce that she chose the right profession. While she has a passion for working with all animals, she is partial to cute puppies and cats!

Outside of work, Maddie enjoys playing softball, volleyball and being outdoors. Her furry family includes three dogs and one cat, but she’s always open to more! Keeping her love for animals a central part of both her personal and professional life.
